Prof. Dr. Najma Patel is a remarkable Paeditric Cardiologist and Adult congenital heart diseases specialist, highly recognized as one of the most prominent names in the relevant field. She is a competent professional  with  experience of more than 26 years  with the ability to handle a wide range of services. Dr.Najma Patel is currently practicing in  Dr.Ziauddin  Hospital as head of the department of Congenital and Structural Heart diseases.

Dr. Najma Patel is a highly qualified medical professional has received her fellowship (FCPS) from the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Pakistan. She is also a fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (FSCAI), which is a mark of her excellence among interventional cardiologists and fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). 

She is also serving as Convener of the committee member of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (Equivalent to Dean of Faculty).

She deals all age groups with congenital and structural heart defects. She worked in National Institute of Cardiovascular diseases for about 26 years  and there  started advance intervention program. She has performed over 5000 percutaneous interventional procedures and 8000 diagnostic cardiac catheterization  in Congenital and structural  heart diseases  in patients of all ages .
