JOB SUMMARY:

Will be responsible to repairs, installing, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using hand tools and testing instruments to supply electrical power for lighting and equipment operation in the hospital. Creating and finalizing electrical diagrams, layouts, and plans for the hospital's electrical systems.

• Analyze electrical systems to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
• Create plans, specifications, and diagrams for electrical installations.
• Review technical drafts as needed according to verbal or written instructions from project managers, engineering team and clients.
• Inspecting and testing installed electrical systems to ensure their functionality and safety.
• Developing electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for a variety of projects.

• Create accurate, detailed technical plans for electrical systems using computer-aided design programs to convert specifications and design information from engineers into schematics and blueprints.
• Collect, study and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent technical drafts for and review by project managers.
• Check that final technical drafts include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, and verify that calculations, measurements and units are accurate based on initial design information from engineers.
• Generating technical specification documents, installation guides, and user manuals.
• Creating technical wiring and power layout diagrams and specifications sheets.

• Preparing cost estimates and project timelines for electrical design projects.

• Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical equipment, power substations and residential and commercial buildings according to project objectives, design information and engineering specifications.
• Participate in design process by supporting engineers and designers, contributing ideas and information and creating rough sketches and diagrams of electrical wiring and systems on the fly.
• Assist designers and project managers as needed in preparing technical documents and presentation slides for meetings with superiors.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers to ensure project success.
• Coordinate project timelines with other trades and contractors.
