JOB SUMMARY:

The Network Admin’s role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Network Admin will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. The individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required. Firewall management.

• Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
• Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
• Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
• Coordinating computer network access and use. Access Points management.
• Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
• All IT Network equipment inventory and monitoring across Ziauddin Group.

• Bring in cost effective new technologies or open source network software.

• Troubleshooting and escalation to ISPs for link downs.

• Efficiently resolve the I. T complains from the concern departments. Uptime monitoring and NMS configuration and setup for all links.
• Up time reporting, assessment, evaluation and analyses.
