JOB SUMMARY:
This position has the purpose to provide strategic leadership to the Group of Ziauddin Hospitals (all campuses) in the Human Resources and Organizational Development department to processes and promote its vision, mission, and goals to ensure effective, harmonious and interdependent themes, functions and programs within Group. The person extends to external interactions with key stakeholders, partners, and consultants. This position ensures sustained Organizational Effectiveness by developing and implementing structures and systems in response to changing organizational contexts, strategies, and priorities which maintain the smooth functions in HR & OD activities.
The group head will also be responsible to manage and direct the respective department at other campuses.
- Manage and strengthen departmental structure & personnel through cost-effective analysis aimed towards establishing an efficient and productive workforce on the Group level
- Develop and implement human resource plans that are aligned to the Group strategy, plans & priorities.
- Establish a comprehensive recruitment program by counseling managers to facilitate recruitment, selection, induction and orientation processes on the Group level.
- Develop and implement performance management systems in all campuses that all staff can use in facilitating feedback.
- Ensure authorized compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource centralized requirements and maintaining records in all campuses.
- To promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.
- Finds opportunities to solve HR challenges through broad and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, organizational behavior, change management, best practices and organization policy at Group level.
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops (if needed); reviewing professional publications (if needed); establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies (if needed).
- Designs, implement and manage salary classification across all departments within own campus.
- Planning and forecast accuracy on areas under the control of the department.
- Ongoing improvement of productivity indicators.

- Monitor and supervise personnel documentation verification with respect to education, certification, previous employer liabilities/NOC/experience certificate, references and addresses campus wise.
- Monitors salary structure and benefits of all departments across the Group.
- Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions as per needs.
- Play the role of change agent and employee champion and purpose strategic options to avail the efficient use of human resource of organization at Group level.
- Develop and implement employee welfare and wellness services to maintain work life balance.
- Check and monitor Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), records and reports including availability and accuracy of information thereof at Group level.
- Oversees the Organizational Development department to ensure effective training sessions are conducted regularly and according to the organizational needs.
- Ensures that an accurate historical human resource records are being maintained by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records respectively in record room.
- Oversees human resource staff performance by counseling and discipline employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising HR results.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors time to time at Group level.
