Karachi – June 25, 2015: To cater to the need of the heat stroke victims and to provide quality immediate treatment, Dr. Ziauddin Hospital imposed an emergency in its Clifton, North Nazimabad and Kemari centers. An heat stroke center has also been established in the North Nazimabad center where the doctors and paramedic staff provides 24/7 treatment services to the victims.
From the effects of the heat stroke, thousands of people have already visited Dr. Ziauddin Hospital and many have been discharged after receiving quality treatment.
Around 1800 heat stroke affectees have visited Dr. Ziauddin Hospital’s emergency services. Of these 1800, 61 of the victims who were brought in critical condition passed away, 617 people are currently admitted and around 1100 people have received their treatment and discharged from the hospital. From these victims, more than 550 have received free and subsidized treatment from all the centers.
Dr. Ziauddin Hospital catered to the urgent situation on a priority basis in a time when the other renowned community hospitals refused to see the patients and closed their doors to take more patients, Dr. Ziauddin Hospital continued to offer its services and dedicated its entire staff to serve the patients.
Dr. Ziauddin Hospital wishes to serve the patients in a similar manner in the future as well, since serving the patients is the first and the last objective of the hospital.
