The department offers comprehensive care for children suffering form cancer. A dedicated team of Paediatric Oncologist, Paediatric Surgeon and Junior Medical Staff provide round the clock service. Although patients are mostly managed in day care units there is a facility of in-patient paediatric beds as well. The department is also providing shared care to children suffering from cancer receiving treatment at other institutions in Karachi. The unit is also involved in various research projects related to Childhood Cancer.
